Play-offs: Round 1
The Firebirds will play the Woodstock Navy Vets in Round 1 of the Play-offs.

Tuesday February 7 – 7:45pm – New Hamburg at Woodstock
The following games will be played if necessary.

Thursday February 16 – 8:00pm – Woodstock at New Hamburg
The admission prices are the same for the 1st round of play-offs as they are in the regular season.
Firebirds Clinch 1st Place in Niagara West This Weekend
The New Hamburg Firebirds clinched 1st place in the Niagara West this past Friday night when they defeated the Norwich Merchants in Norwich.
The Firebirds won 3-1 but did not follow up that important win with another win on Saturday. The Aylmer Spitfires pulled out a 2-1 win in the final 3 minutes of that game.
New Hamburg completes their regular season next weekend when they host the Paris Mounties on Friday, January 27th, and the Woodstock Navy Vets come to town on January 28th. Both games start at 7:30 pm.
The Firebirds’ “Beer for a Year” raffle will be held during the 2nd Intermission of Saturday’s game. Raffle tickets are $5.00 each. The raffle prizes are:
- 1st prize is 52 – $20 gift certificates to The Beer Store
- 2nd prize is 365 – $1 gift certificates to Tim Horton’s
- 3rd prize is 2 tickets to the Kitchener Rangers vs Belleville Bulls game on February 3rd at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium
